Slate Walling

Slate Walling Celtic Grey Tumbled 100mm Sawn End T1

Slate Walling Celtic Grey Tumbled is hand crafted using a chisel and mallet in the aged traditional way and then given a unique weathering process. The characteristics of Celtic grey tumbled make it an ideal stone for walling applications with the soft textured faces and rounded edges making for easy building and pointing. It's square shape and the manner in which it can be split into the required height, depth or length make it more practical than laying other natural stone products meaning stone masons can achieve quick installation.
.
Celtic grey tumbled walling stone is very versatile and can give the appearance of an older 18th-century farmhouse with a line pointed finish for a contemporary modern look when used in conjunction with tight bedding joints and stone adhesive. This means it is found in the fabric of some modern houses as well as being a favourite with historical restoration in older buildings.
.
Celtic grey tumbled slate walling is sawn ended with natural faces on the other four sides. Produced entirely from the reject stone from the roof slate industry, giving it excellent green credentials. Again the hardest, most dense slate quarried in the British Isles and dark blue/grey in colour.
.
It is sold with 100mm on bed, with a tolerance of +/- 20mm.
