Located on an amazing site, Thorns sits in a naturally formed hollow looking out to sea. This stunning design called for a special finish on the walling that wrap around most of the lower parts of the house and driveway. The client chose Cornish Blue Sawn face walling, as it provided the natural look of walling with a consistent grey colouring and smooth finish, which enhances the modern aesthetic of this design. The modern angular design allows for a huge amount of glazing to maximise the views from this amazing location. The walls are capped with slate copings to complement the walling and add to the clean modern lines of the design.
